Shri Arvind Kumar is the Director General of Software Technology Parks of India (STPI). Before joining STPI, he was working in Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) since 2004. As advisor in TRAI, he was responsible for formulating policies on broadband, data security & privacy issues, manufacturing, DTH, IPTV, TV broadcasting and OTT, after having worked since 1997 in the Indian Government run premier technology centre, C-DoT, in various capacities.

He also has worked with International Telecommunication Union (ITU) as Rapporteur on the issues related to Migration to Next Generation Network (NGN) including OTT, cloud computing, security and privacy related issues. Shri Kumar holds an MTech degree from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Varanasi, India.

Dr. Devesh Tyagi is Senior Director, Software Technology Parks of India (STPI). He has more than 26 years of experience in IT/ESDM sector. He has been actively involved in the promotion of IT/ESDM sector and also working for the promotion of entrepreneurship, innovation and product creation in the country. He has also been involved in various policy formations for IT/ESDM sector. Prior to joining STPI, he served National Informatics Centre (NIC) in various capacities. He has a wide range of experience in Project Management and Software development. He possesses strong technical capabilities and delivered lot of remarkable projects during this period. Shri Tyagi has earned his B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Marathawada University and Masters Degree from BITS, Pilani.

Mr. Rajiv Gupta has rich experience with a demonstrated history of working in the insurance industry. Skilled in Business Planning, Operations Management, Communication, Team Building, and Retirement Planning. He is a strong business development professional with a Certified Wealth Manager focused in Wealth Management from CWM.

Mrs. Sonal Bhatawadekar is the Jurisdictional Director of Software Technology Parks of India (STPI)-Gandhinagar, Gujarat, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India. She is responsible for the promotion of IT/ITES & Electronics Exports from the jurisdiction of STPI-Gandhinagar, Gujarat States.

On her promotion, she was posted as Jurisdictional Director, STPI-Gandhinagar for Gujarat State in 2022. Under her leadership STPI Gandhinagar Centre grew manifold and attained New Heights in terms of Revenue, IT/ITeS exports, and infrastructure fronts. With her experience in setting up the Center of Entrepreneurship, the FinGlobe CoE has launched at STPI-Gandhinagar, GIFT city in association with State Govt—Gujarat to promote and support Start-ups working in the Fintech -Tech Fin & Banking Industry.

She has been leading divisions to promote the Software and Electronic hardware exporting industry and data communication operations since 1995 as well as being instrumental in shaping and implementing the STP & EHTP scheme to boost the exports from the jurisdiction & the India BPO promotion Scheme for promoting ITES operations from Tier-II & Tier-III cities for generating employment from these regions and successfully handled the activities for operationalizing as implementing agency for IBPS. After getting promoted she has conceptualized and performed significantly for the creation of the Centre of Entrepreneurship, for emerging domains of Automotive Engineering & IoT based and Smart Agritech CoE with her visionary leadership. She has more than 26 years of experience in STPI. She was heading many Divisions for STPI—Pune (For Maharashtra & Goa Jurisdiction) till March 2022. She is profoundly contributing to providing statutory services to Software /ITES exports from the region, High-Speed Data Communication services, incubation services, and the setting up of the Centre of Entrepreneurship (CoE) for new & emerging technologies.

Mrs. Sonal Bhatawadekar is a Bachelor of Electronics Engineering in 1993 & post-graduated in EMBA, Executive Master’s Program. Before joining STPI, she worked at Pune-based electronics manufacturing Pvt Company from 1993 to 1995.

On 8th March 2024 on International Women’s Day; She also won the prestigious NARI SHAKTI 2024 pageant recognition by the No:1 trade publication – the INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION.

She also got recognition “नराकास-गांधीनगर राजभाषा गौरव पुरस्कार (कार्यपालक श्रेणी)-2023-24–Executive Category from नगर राजभाषा कार्यान्वय समिति , गांधीनगर, (गुजरात), भारत सरकार, गृह मंत्रालय ,राजभाषा विभाग.

Shri Subodh Sachan, Director STPI Head Quarter and Director & Chief Innovation Officer of STPINEXT, is heading pan-India startup initiatives of Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) including establishment of domain specific Centres of Entrepreneurship in emerging technologies like IoT, AI, BlockChain, AR/VR etc. An IIT Roorkee and IIM Bangalore alumnus, is a senior professional from the Industry who has joined STPI as Director after working in the Industry at Global level in various capacities. He has worked in diversified areas of the technology industry, a major portion of which is into telecom & related fields. In particular, he has been part of start-ups in leadership role, right from inception to successful listing of the company (IPO). On the other side of the industry spectrum, he has also been part of senior management in MNCs and global telecom behemoths like Motorola and Nokia. He has successfully headed the Bangalore chapter of IIM Ahmedabad’s Centre for Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship (CIIE).
